Mission

The William Byrne Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is a group of Byrne families and teachers who have a shared goal of making our school the best place it can be for our kids!  We are a stand-alone 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is fully run by volunteers. The more parents and teachers get involved, the more we’re able to do!

Vision

If you have a child at William Byrne Elementary, you already belong!

Unlike many PTO groups, we are not a membership organization, and you don’t need to sign up or pay dues to be a part of it.

What We Do

The PTO supports our school community in a variety of ways, including:

  • Organizing fun events that build connection and community.
  • Creating opportunities for information sharing and collaboration among families, teachers, and administrators.
  • Providing grants to every teacher and grade level to help cover costs of programs and resources for our students.
  • Organizing our spirit wear program and producing the school yearbook.

Together—as Byrne families, educators, and staff—we identify needs in our community and take action! We’d love for you to be a part of it.
